Los Arcos offers more diversity of tropical life than any other site in the entire bay. Los
Arcos is an UNDERWATER NATIONAL RESERVE that is protected by the Mexican

Within swimming distance of the reef there is a wall, which sharply falls to 800 feet. The
beginning of the drop starts at 60 feet giving experienced divers a great wall dive,
combined with the deep blue abyss that lies below.
At night, Los Arcos is another great option for certified divers. On the menu for the
evening is a one-tank dive over the shallow reefs, providing unforgettable encounters
with the nocturnal sea life, Join us every Wednesday or Friday and explore the living
reef for a 60 minute dive during the dark of the night. Discover the most amazing

directly into the ocean forming lovely multi level walls covered in coral growth. Tons of

If time is not a factor, one must consider our snorkeling/diving tour to Majahuitas Cove.
This tour offers boat only access to some of the bay’s best snorkeling/diving sites year
round. The entire south side of the bay is made up of tiny coves that offer excellent
conditions for snorkeling/diving. One can literally pick any spot along this coast line and
encounter an abundance of small, tropical life feeding off the shallow reefs and rock

It is located in the mouth of Bandera’s Bay at 22 nautical miles west of Puerto Vallarta,
and the reef is so extensive that one could spend a full week of diving and not be able

Yves Cousteau chronicled the islands because of the variation of impressive life.
The reef depth ranges from 15 - 90 feet. Marietas holds the largest number of cleaning
stations in the entired Bay, mantas spend hours approaching this cleaning stations, this
is the place to encounter the Great Pacific Manta and chances are better than good.

The islands are the perfect home for snorkelers looking for shallow, coral reef bottoms
and tropical life, but the big attraction is the opportunity to spot huge pacific manta rays.
The mantas range in size from 8 - 14 feet, and frequent the islands because of the
abundance of plankton, its natural food source
There are 3 different great scuba spot s in Puerto Vallarta Los Arcos, Majahuita's, and
marrietas Island. you can also go out to Corebetea 36 miles from the marina but is only
